Please join us for a night of readings, visuals and crepes!

21st of August at Pink Ember studio, 22 allenby street Coburg North

It’s time for another Speaking to Pictures, our regular night of reading with images. It’s kind of like a story hour, with a distinctly visual element.

This time we are raising money to go towards MAKE, the Melbourne Alternative Comics Expo, a volunteer artists run festival focused on graphic storytelling in Melbourne and beyond!

Reading at this fundraiser are some of the volunteer artists and organisers that are making this festival happen:

  • Reimena Yee

  • Emilie Walsh

  • Benedicte O’Leary Rutherford

  • Aaron Billings

There will also be sweet and savoury crepes made on the night by our French connection Emilie Walsh, and a selection of drinks available.

  • Doors open 6pm

  • Readings 6:30 pm

  • Goodbyes 10pm

Come for a night of comic based entertainment and support Melbourne’s alternative comics community.
