STUDIOS - WORKSHOPS - EVENTS - CERAMIC STUDIO

Pink Ember is proudly a queer artist-run initiative.

We are a not-for-profit, which serves as an inclusive centre for artists; providing art workshops, studios, exhibitions, and events.

First established in a small shop front on Ohea Street in Coburg during 2018, we have since relocated to a large venue on Allenby Street in Coburg North. Our new space features a front workshop/event area, 14 artist studios, as well as a dedicated ceramics studio at the back of the venue.

As uninvited guests, we proudly acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which our studio is located and on which our resident artists do their work. Our organisation directly benefits from the oppression, dispossession and colonisation of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people. We pay respect to Elders, past and present. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
