SUMMARY
This six-week ceramic sculpture course is ideal for beginners and experienced makers alike who want to explore or advance their skills in ceramic sculpture.
It blends ceramic technique, theory, and creative practice for you to make the ceramic projects you want to make, in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
Hosting a mix of new and returning participants, we begin with a formal, guided lesson to build foundational skills and knowledge. From there, your teacher, Aoife, draws on a wide range of techniques, and tailors each lesson to support you as you create your own projects.
Over the course of the term, you'll create, and then hand-paint, 1–6 ceramic pieces using coloured underglaze. Aoife will then apply a clear glaze to each piece, and your finished works will be ready for collection within 2–4 weeks.
Upcoming Term Dates:
Start Date: Thursday, July 23rd
Time: 6:30–8:30pm (6 weeks)
