As uninvited guests, we proudly acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which our shop is located and on which our resident artists do their work.
We pay respect to elders, past and present. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
We currently have 14 artist studios, which are also available as half studio spaces. The goal of our organisation is to prioritise and represent marginalised folk, and we will prioritise queer people, POC and women when considering applicants for studio spaces. We are very aware that having a studio space is out of reach for a lot of artists, so we are currently working on applying for grants that will allow us to subsidise spaces to make them as accessible as possible.
The spaces are suitable for painting, drawing, ceramics, jewellery making, textile work, screen printing, digital work, etc - but no noisy or heavy duty work. Our studios are light filled and open plan, and a full space is approximately 3 x 2.5 metres in size. Rent is $300 per month for a full space (including all utilities and bills) or $150 for a half space.
To apply for the space we do ask that you align with our values and would want to contribute to our community, and help to foster a safe and communicative space.
As a member of the studio you will have the opportunity to stock your work in the shopfront at reduced consignment rates, as well as run workshops. Our goal is to build a community of artists, to share skills, and to provide a fair and accessible space for artists to sell their work. We are located at 40A Ohea Street, Coburg VIC 3058, situated between Coburg and Batman train stations, and close to Sydney Road and the 19 tram. The downstairs spaces are wheelchair accessible - if this is a requirement please let us know. Thanks!

Lots of love
